Miss Dana Gayle Stegemiller and Mr. Kirby Lynn Nash, Jr. were united in marriage on Saturday. January 3, 1998, at Foundry United Methodist Church in Houston. Rev. Godfrey Hubert officiated. A reception followed at the Ramada Plaza Hotel. The groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Swiss Inn.
Dana is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Stegemiller of Rosenberg. She is the granddaughter of Luella Scheffer of Freeport and the late Allen Scheffer and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Henry Stegemiller. Kirby is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kirby L. Nash, Sr., grandson of Mr. and Mrs. V.L. Robinson and Ms. Arlie Nash, all of Houston, and the late Kirby I. Nash.
Cheryl Schulte served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Michelle Jordan, Sara Nash, Wendy Norwood, and Diana Stegemiller. Deanna Stegemiller was junior bridesmaid.
Best man was Chris McDermott and Trey Witte, Joe Figliola, Jeff Thibodeaux and Rodney Brown served as groomsmen. Ushers were Sam Rodriquez, Brian Edgar, Jimmie Stegemiller and Bobby Stegemiller.
Dana is a graduate of B.F. Terry High School and will receive her degree from the University of Houston in May. She is a member of chi Omega sorority. Kirby is a graduate of Jersey Village High School and Sam Houston University. He is a member of Sigma Chi fraternity and is employed by Kraft Foods, Inc.
The couple is now at home in Houston following their honeymoon in Jamaica.
