SAVOY -- Joyce Waggoner and Kevin Merworth both of Savoy, were united in marriage Oct. 6, 2001 in the couple's home in Savoy. Wayne Johnson of Ector Church of Christ officiated at the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Henshaw of Denison. Grandparents are Nora Auldridge and the late James Auldridge and the late Flossie Henshaw, all of Denison. She is employed by Texoma Dermatology in Sherman.
The groom is the son of Katie Merworth-Partain of Savoy. Grandparents are Robert and Carolyn Merworth and Cleo Merworth and the late L.H. Merworth, all of Comanche. He is co-owner of B&M; Plumbing Contractors in Savoy.
Attendants for the bride were her daughter, Ashley Sanders, of Savoy, matron of honor, and groom's daughter, Mande Merworth of Savoy, maid of honor.
Flower girl was Lexi Sanders of Savoy, granddaughter of bride.
Best men were Levi Merworth, the groom's son, and Tanner Waggoner, the bride's son, both of Savoy.
The couple hosted a reception following the ceremony.
