Denise Saunders and Jason Laughinghouse were married June 2 at St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church in Danbury by the Rev. Angelo Arrando.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Saunders of Caye Road, Danbury. The bridegroom is the son of Jesse Laughinghouse of Hayestown Heights, Danbury.
Diane Sternbach was matron of honor. Michelle Tigue, Theresa Chiarito and the bridegroom's sister, Kelly Marsh, were bridesmaids. Kristen Sternbach, Aaliyah Chiarito and Taylor McCafferty were flower girls.
The bridegroom's brother, J.R. Laughinghouse, was best man. His brothers, John Laughinghouse and Raymond Laughinghouse, and the bride's brother, Derek Saunders, were ushers.
A reception followed at the Amber Room Colonnade in Danbury.
Denise Laughinghouse graduated from Danbury High School and from Western Connecticut State University in Danbury with a B.A. in psychology. She is a LifeCare services associate for LifeCare Inc. in Westport.
Jason Laughinghouse graduated from Danbury High School. He is employed by United Parcel Service in Brookfield.
After a wedding trip to St. Lucia, they are living in Danbury.
