Trish Cody and David Beneway were married July 28 at St. Mary's Church in Bethel by the Rev. Andrew Walter.
The bride is the daughter of F. Patrick and Kathy Cody Jr. of Bridgeport. The bridegroom is the son of David and Dorothy Beneway of Knollcrest Drive, Brookfield.
Sherrie Diehl was maid of honor. Kelly Hurd, Patty Incorvaia, Debbie Jones and Ginny Fielding were bridesmaids. Danielle Trott and Morgan Trott were junior bridesmaids. Ciara Beneway was flower girl.
Adam Izzo was best man. Mark Cody, Kenn Volz, Steve Christos and Tommy Fielding were ushers. J.T. Trott was ring bearer.
A reception followed at the Amber Room Colonnade in Danbury.
Trish Beneway graduated from St. Joseph High School in Trumbull and from Western Connecticut State University in Danbury with a B.B.A. She earned an M.A. in teaching from Sacred Heart University in Bridgeport.
She is a kindergarten teacher and technology instructional leader in Wilton.
David Beneway graduated from Brookfield High School and from the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne with a B.S. in marine biology. He is pursuing a master's degree in food science at Rutgers College in New Brunswick, N.J.
He is a research scientist at Pepsi Cola in Valhalla, N.Y.
After a wedding trip to Turks and Caicos, they are living in Danbury.
