Cubberlys celebrate 50 years together

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Cubberly of Danbury celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 25. The couple were married in Lynnbrook, N.Y., on Aug. 25, 1951, and have lived in Danbury for 41 years.
Henry and Nora Cubberly were among more than 200 couples who renewed their wedding vows during a Mass of Thanksgiving in June at St. Therese's Church in Trumbull. Bishop William Lori of the diocese of Bridgeport officiated.
Their children and spouses, Chris and Laura Cubberly of Eustice, Fla.; Chuck Cubberly of Oxford; Kathleen and Dan Lloyd of Bishop, Ga.; Norann and Mark Summer of East Ellijay, Ga.; David and Amy Cubberly of Danbury; and Annamarie and Bob Faubel of Danbury, hosted a party in their honor Aug. 18 at the Hattertown Banquet Hall in Danbury.
