The bride is the daughter of John and Ana Iwanska of Kielce, Poland. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carmine Lombardi of Golden Hill Road, Danbury.
Lorraine Sautner was maid of honor. The bridegroom's sisters, Maura Lombardi and Christine Lombardi, and Josemary Granfors were bridesmaids. Maria Alvarez was flower girl.
Mark McIlrath was best man. The bridegroom's brother, John Lombardi, Erik Granfors and Glen Hall were ushers. Daniel Alvarez was ring bearer.
A reception followed at Anthony's Lake Club in Danbury.
Joanna Lombardi graduated from the Pedagogical Institute in Kielce with a B.S. in mathematics. She was a high school English teacher in Kielce.
Robert Lombardi graduated from Danbury High School and from Western Connecticut State University in Danbury with a B.B.A. in finance. He earned an M.B.A. in management from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield. He is a revenue chain supervisor at Honeywell in Danbury.
After a wedding trip to Poland and England, they are living in Danbury.
