ZIMMERMAN - CLAPPER
Couple Will Observe 50th Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Zimmerman
will quietly celebrate their
fiftieth wedding anniversary on
next Wednesday by being at home
to their friends during the day and
evening.
Harrison Zimmerman and Hollie
Clapper were united in marriage by
the late Reverend D. A. Stayer at
the Stayer homestead, February 22,
1900. They made their home with
the bride's father on the farm near
Yellow Creek. On this place they
followed farming for more than
thirty years. Since leaving the farm
they have resided near the village
of Yellow Creek.
Mr. Zimmerman took an active
interest in civic affairs until he
became a semi-invalid over five
years ago. Both served actively in
the Brethren Church of Yellow
Creek where they hold membership.
