Julie Banz and Karl Snyder were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Dec. 27, 2008. The Rev. James Healy performed the service at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church in Blue Springs, Mo.
Richard and Gayla Banz, Humboldt, are parents of the bride. C.W. Snyder, Independence, Mo., and the late Mary Carolyn Snyder, are parents of the groom.
The bride wore an Oleg Cassini strapless sweetheart beaded lace trumpet gown with shirred tulle bodice and a sweep train. She was attended by Lisa Ousley, Kansas City, Mo., and Tracy Landing, Prairie Village.
The groom’s attendants were Chris McClish and Mike Vinck, Raymore, Mo. Eric Banz, brother of the bride, and Andrew Snyder and Joe Snyder, brothers of the groom, served as ushers.
Following a honeymoon to South Padre Island, Texas, the couple are at home in Lake Lotawana, Mo. Mr. Snyder is an IT analyst at Truman Medical Center-Lakewood, Lee’s Summit, Mo. Mrs. Snyder is a FOIA analyst at National Records Center in Lee’s Summit.
