Hiser — Valentine
Crystal “Susie” Hiser and Brandon Valentine, Olathe, were united in marriage at 4 p.m. April 5, 2008, at United Methodist Church in Neosho Falls. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Trudy Kenyon Anderson.
The bride is the daughter of Morris and Karen Dible, Iola, and the late Gerald Hiser. The groom is the son of Raymond and Karen Valentine, Ottawa.
Special guests attending were grandparents of the groom, Raymond and Irene Wittman, Garnett.
Serving as matron of honor was Tami Ray, Bakersfield, Calif.
Bridesmaid was Angie King, Yates Center.
Ben Janssen, Topeka, and Ryan Deardorff, Lenexa, served as best men.
Flower girl was Brooke King, Yates Center, and ring bearer was Tyler Heinrich, Iola.
Following the ceremony the couple gathered with family and friends for a dinner and dance hosted by Robin Tinsley, Krista Grogg, John Bishop and Misty Buchanon in the Yates Center Community Building.
The couple are at home in Olathe.
Mrs. Valentine is a graduate of Yates Center High School, Allen County Community College and received a bachelor’s degree in integrated studies in art, English and social work from Weber State University.
She is a flight attendant with Delta Airlines, Atlanta, Ga.
Mr. Valentine is a graduate of Ottawa High School, ACCC and has a bachelor of arts in psychology from Pittsburg State University. He is a pipe fitter with Taylor Forge of Gridley.
