First Baptist Church in Iola was the 4 p.m. Aug. 9, 2008, setting for the wedding of Nicole Trabuc, Colony, and Kyle Wainwright, Riley.
The Rev. Rodney Michael performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Butch and Leanne Trabuc, Colony.
The groom is the son of Don and Tammy Wainwright, Riley.
Grandparents attending the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Anderson, Colony, Jennie Trabuc, Henderson, Texas, Mr. and Mrs. Henri Trabuc, Palacois, Texas, and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Dalquest, Council Grove.
The bride wore a white satin strapless gown with chiffon overlay and train.
The bodice of the gown was beaded and laced up the back.
The bride’s bouquet was a cascade of white tiger lilies and blue ribbon.
Jaci Hartman of Kansas City, Mo. served as maid of honor. The groom’s sister, Erin Wainwright, Manhattan, was the bridesmaid.
Both wore strapless light blue dresses with white tulle overlay.
Sadrie Overall, Iola, niece of the bride, was candlelighter, and flower girls were Carissa Dalquist and Mandy Wainwright, Council Grove, cousins of the groom.
They wore tea-length sleeveless light blue dresses with white tulle overlay.
The groom wore a black tuxedo with a silver vest and tie. Brock Glenn, Manhattan, was best man, and Derek Trabuc, Iola, the bride’s brother, was groomsman.
Seating the guests were Joe Griesler, Shane Eslit and Tim Sigle, Manhattan.
Ring bearer was Kaster Trabuc, Iola, nephew of the bride.
The groomsman, ushers and ring bearer wore black tuxedos with light blue vests and ties.
Salena Trabuc, sister-in-law of the bride, and Laura Mathis and Krista Gampper, Iola, cousins of bride, attended the guest book and handed out programs.
A dinner and dance followed the ceremony at the North Community Building.
The couple are at home at 14239 Ballfour Park Ln., Houston, TX 77047.
Mrs. Wainwright is a 2005 graduate of Crest High School in Colony, 2006 graduate of Allen County Community College and a 2008 graduate of Pittsburg State University with a bachelor of science degree in biology and chemistry.
She is attending the University of Houston College of Optometry.
Mr. Wainwright is a 2004 graduate of Riley County High School, 2006 graduate of ACCC and a 2008 graduate of PSU with a bachelor of science degree in biology and chemistry.
He is also attending the University of Houston College of Optometry.
