Salyer - 55th
Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Salyer of Hannibal will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary with a reception hosted by their children from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2001, at the American Legion Hall on Route MM.
Grace Mullinix and Charles Salyer were united in marriage on June 7, 1946, at the home of the Rev. John Golden.
Attendants were Pearl Bruce and Joe Bush.
Mrs. Salyer is the daughter of the late Henry and Fay Mullinix.
Mr. Salyer is the son the the late Charles and Anna Salyer.
They are the parents of nine children, Rose Ruby, Anna Gilbert, Linda Baer, Donna Dodd, Roma Salyer, Ruby Palmer, Charlie Salyer Jr., Jim Salyer and Leta Salyer; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Mr. Salyer is retired from the Hannibal Street Department after 38 years.
Mrs. Salyer is a homemaker.
Friend and relatives are invited to the reception.
