The bride is the daughter of David and Kris Christian, Gering, and granddaughter of Mary Christian, Paul and Lydia Christian and Tom and Jan Scripter and the great-granddaughter of Alice Christian and Bob and Maybelle Carr.
The groom is the son of Doug and Trish Howard, Wathena, and grandson of Virginia Lindquist and the late Ralph Lindquist and the late Max and Theda Howard.
Maid of honor was Mandy Christian, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Michael Ann John, cousin of the bride, and Erica Nakajima, Kim Nochi and Erin Gull.
Best man was Alex Howard, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Jon Sulman, Alex Baum and Chris Young.
Ring bearer was Cade Scripter, cousin of the bride.
Mrs. Howard is a 2008 graduate of Carleton College in Northfield, Minn.
She will be a pharmacy student at Creighton University and is employed by Senior RX Care Pharmacy in Topeka.
Mr. Howard is a 2006 graduate of Carleton College in Northfield.
He is a student in the graduate political science program and a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Kansas.
The couple are at home in Lawrence.
