Jaclyn Nicole Ziegler and Nicholas Robert Gill were united in marriage June 13, 2009, at Assumption Parish of Mattese in St. Louis, Mo.
The Rev. Jon Seper officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Donald and Kathleen Ziegler, Winfield.
She is a 2001 graduate of Winfield High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in microbiology.
She will earn her master’s degree in medical science from St. Louis University in December.
The groom is the son of Robert and Rebecca Gill, Iola.
He is a 2002 graduate of Iola High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry.
He is a chemist for Sigma-Aldrich and is enrolled at the University of Missouri-St. Louis master’s biochemistry and biotech program.
Maid of honor was Megan Ziegler, Lawrence, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were the bride’s cousins Amanda Hartman, Edwardsville, and Nicole Weber. Madlyn Kohl, Gardner, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.
Nathan Gill, Lawrence, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were George Schank, Granite City, Ill., and Matthew Pfizenmaier, Blue Springs, Mo. Davis Murphy, Alexandria, Minn., was ring-bearer.
Carolyn Davis, Frankfort, Ind., aunt of the groom, was the lector. Esther Leiker, Gardner, aunt of the bride, and Randy and Julie Ziegler, Assaria, uncle and aunt of the bride, were gift-bearers.
Special guests were Doug and Ann Ziegler, Grainfield, grandparents of the bride, and Charles Gill, Logansport, Ind., grandfather of the groom.
A dinner reception and dance followed at Assumption Parish Center. The rehearsal dinner was at Casa Gallardo in St. Louis.
The couple honeymooned in Hawaii. They will live in Arnold, Mo.
