Maynard — Howard

Maygan Kyle Maynard and Alex Mitchell Howard were married July 12, 2008, during a ceremony at Old Shawnee Town in Shawnee. The Rev. James Rausch performed the ceremony.
The bride was escorted by her father, William H. Maynard. Maid of honor was Emily Price. Bridesmaids were Abby Relic, Julie Simmerman, Haley Latham and Morgan Latham. Flowers girls were Avry and Asia Schriener.
Best man was Nicholas Howard, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Brian Piere, Garett Mugler, Mike Denton and Will Maynard and Matthew Maynard, brothers of the bride.
The bride is the daughter of William H. and Dana Maynard of Shawnee and granddaughter of William R. and Marilyn Maynard and Emily Davis and the late Franklin Davis.
The groom is the son of Doug and Trish Howard of Wathena and grandson of Virginia Lindquist and the late Ralph Lindquist and the late Max and Theda Howard.
Mrs. Howard is employed by Farm Bureau Insurance and plans to attend Baker University. Mr. Howard is a May 2009 graduate of Kansas State University and is employed by Reliable Medical Products in Kansas City.
