Morales — Jukes
Diana Morales, Miami, Fla., and Kevin Michael Jukes, Homestead, Fla., were married at 4 p.m. Feb. 21 on the beach at Club Hotel RIU Ocho Rios in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The Rev. Sheldon Anderson performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Nereida Diaz, Miami, and Roberto Morales, Orlando, Fla. The groom is the son of Kathryn Jukes, Kansas City, and Jimmie Jukes, Chesapeake, Va.
Grandparents attending the wedding were Spencer and Helen Ambler, Iola, and Mary Oliver, Drewryville, Va.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her brother, Guillermo Morales, Uniontown, N.J. Ingrid Gonzales, Miami, was matron of honor. Taciana Auguste, Miami, served as maid of honor. Flower girl was Vanessa Morales, Uniontown, niece of the bride.
Michael Thompson, Alexandria, Va., served as best man. Seating the guests were Hose Arias, Bethesda, Md., and Edwin Medina, New York, N.Y., and Rick Medina, Hackensack, N.J., cousins of the bride. Ring bearers were Justin Green, Chesapeake, nephew of the groom, and Norberto (Ali) Sedredo, Miami, nephew of the bride.
Readers at the wedding were Gwendolyn Mercado and Leandra Linares, Miami.
Friends and relatives attending the wedding witnesses the lighting of the unity candle a sand ceremony and the signing of the marriage license.
Following the wedding ceremony a dinner was held at Mammee Steakhouse. A pool side reception followed the meal.
A welcome dinner was hosted on Feb. 20 by Kathryn Jukes and Jimmie Juke at St. Anne’s Restaurant.
Following a honeymoon in Ocho Rios, the couple are at home in Homestead.
Mr. and Mrs. Jukes are both employed by Beckman Coulter.
