Wayne E. Hiser and Oleata H. Roberts were married June 19, 1949, at Free Methodist Church in Iola.
The Rev. H. Hendricks performed the ceremony.
The couple operated Hiser Implement Co. in Iola from 1955 until their retirement in 1985.
During their ownership the business achieved status as one of the largest New Holland dealerships in the four-state area.
The couple’s children are, Diana and Allen Miller, Wichita, and Sandra and Steve Garver, Iola, and grandchildren are Vicki and Dewayne Smith, Michael Garver and Sarah Henderson and David Garver and Delia Sanchez.
The couple have five great-grandchildren.
