Virgil and Jean Roberts
Virgil and Jean Roberts will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary at an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Iola’s Senior Citizens Center, 204 N. Jefferson.
Virgil Roberts and Jean Stanley were married Sept. 18, 1948, by the Rev. Roberts in Bentonville, Ark.
Hosts for the anniversary celebration will be the couple’s three children, Vickie and Jim Tholen, Linda and Randy Duvall and Ron Roberts.
The couple have nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
The couple requests no gifts.
