Jim and Patricia Powell, Colony, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at a reception Aug. 31 in Mankato.
Jim Powell and Patricia Murray were married Aug. 27, 1958, in Mankato.
They made their home in Kansas until transferring to St. Peters, Mo., in 1975.
They moved back to Colony in December 1985 where they have made their home.
The couple have two children, Jim Powell Jr. and his companion, Sandy Hardy, and Debra Suchy and her husband, Steven.
They have 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
