Harry and Norma Collins of West Des Moines, Iowa, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on March 21.
The both grew up in Iola. He is the son of Harvey and Lillie Collins and she is the daughter of Minnie May Cannady.
The couple were married March 21, 1959, in Kansas City.
They have four children, Terry, Amanda, Melissa and Rebecca, and six grandchildren, Adam, Ryan, Alex, Cassie, Brett and Jonathon.
They have always been active in their children and grandchildren’s lives. He is retired from Stone Container Bag Division.
She is a homemaker who had worked outside the home for many years.
Now both retired, they enjoy traveling, playing golf and spending time with their family and friends.
