Don and Ann Johnson
Don and Ann Johnson will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. July 19 at the Humboldt Senior Center, 804 Bridge St.
Don Johnson and Ann Cosens were married July 19, 1959, in the Methodist Church in Prescott.
The Rev. John Anderson performed the ceremony.
He owned and operated a barber shop in Humboldt from 1962 to 1974 prior to being employed by The Monarch Cement Company in Humboldt.
He retired in 2004 after 30 years employment with the company.
She has been employed for 12 years at the Allen County Courthouse.
Host for the reception will be the couple’s three children and their families. Tom and Angela Johnson, Neosho Falls, Tim and Kristy Johnson, Burlington, and Kimberly and Craig Baldwin, Valley Center. The couple has six grandchildren, Jake, Allison, Colby and Cael Johnson, Reid Barnett and Ava Baldwin.
