Donald Pete and Linda Smith will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary at a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Colony’s Community Center.

Donald Pete Smith and Linda West were married April 19, 1969, in First Christian Church in Le Roy.

He is employed by Gates Corporation.

Hosts for the anniversary celebration will be the couple’s children, Leon Smith, Iola, Angela King, Yates Center, Donita Garner, Iola, Melissa Miller, Welda, Cheryl Lakin, Iola, and Cody Smith and Logan Smith, rural Colony.

The couple have eight grandchildren.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
