Delmer and Pauline Sarver
B. Delmer and Pauline “Polly” Sarver of Iola celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a weekend family reunion Aug. 1 to 3 at Sequoyah State Park, Western Hills Lodge, near Wagoner, Okla.
Delmer Sarver and Pauline E. Hodge Potts were married Aug. 22, 1958, in Iola.
The Rev. Paul Pentz performed the ceremony. Grace and Earl Ansell attended the couple.
Attending the anniversary celebration were the couple’s four children, Charlene and Jim Keener, Joplin, Mo., Darrell and Carla Potts, Bartlesville, Okla., Nancy and Tom Laidlaw, Lafayette, Colo., and Craig and Tammy Sarver, Bartlesville.
Other relatives attending included their grandchildren were, Gina Stalnaker, Abby Vardeman and her husband, Eric, Eric Sarver and his girlfriend, Jill Weeks, and Lindsey Sarver and her friend, Lindsey Bolen; and great-grandchildren, Brady and Macy Vardeman, nieces, Vera Taylor and her husband, Ralph, and Lorraine Howard and her husband, Bob, and nephews, Ed Hodge and his wife, Jo, and Dick Hodge and his wife, Wanda.
The couple’s other grandchildren are Rob Cossou, Kevin Potts and Clint Laidlaw.
