Charles and Phyllis McVey
Charles Harley “Junior” and Phyllis McVey will celebrate their 60th wedding at a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. March 15 in Fellowship Hall at Moran Christian Church, located at the corner of Pine and Church streets.
Charles McVey and Phyllis Ervin were married Feb. 25, 1949, in Bartlesville, Okla., at the home of his Uncle Carl and Aunt Sarah McVey.
The Rev. C.H. Asher performed the ceremony. His cousin G.C. McVey and his wife, Lola, attended the couple.
Hosts for the anniversary celebration will be their son Phil and his wife, Marianne, and their daughter Linda Bonham and her husband, Bill.
The couple have three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, Mike Bonham and his wife, Kammi, and their children, Garrett, Paige and Grant; Dale Bonham and his wife, Liz, and their children, Harley and Lyla; and Kenneth McVey and his wife, Kathy, and their child, Kody.
The couple requests no gifts.
