Joseph and Imogene Olinger
Joseph J. and Imogene M. Saar Olinger, Rogers, Ark., celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary on Christmas Eve.
The couple were married Dec. 24, 1939, in Arkansas City.
He was a route salesman for Swift and Company in the Iola area from 1949 to 1956.
He retired in 1968 in Kansas City as district sales manager.
She is a homemaker.
The Olinger’s children, Deanie, Doug and Dan attended school in Iola.
A family luncheon was recently hosted for the couple in Kansas City by their daughter, Deanie Olinger.
