Macy - Fisher
The lawn of Lloyd and Mary Ann Fisher was the setting for the exchange of vows of Deborah J. Macy and James W. Fisher, both of Ottumwa on September 5, 1999 at 1 p.m.
Parents of the couple are Mary Williamson of Belvidere, Ill. and Lloyd and Mary Ann Fisher of Bloomfield and Willene Marvin of Ames.
The Rev. William W. McDermet, III officiated the double ring ceremony.
The bride wore a soft yellow linen dress. She carried a tied bouquet of yellow roses and chrysanthemums.
She was attended by her daughter and son, Jessica and Ben Bogdon, both of Ottumwa.
Randy Owens of Ankeny was best man.
A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at the home of Lloyd and Mary Ann Fisher.
Assisting at the reception were Cynthia Fisher, Kathy Sorensen, Mr. and Mrs. L. David Spurgeon and Jamie and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Baughman and Anne.
Following a wedding trip to Kansas City, Mo., the couple is residing in Wichita, Kan.
The bride has a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and human services. She is a counselor at First Resources in Ottumwa.
The bridegroom has a bachelor of science degree in aviation. He is employed by Learjet in Wichita, Kan.
Out-of-town guests were from River Falls, Wisc., Belvidere, Carbondale, Knoxville and Moline, Ill.; Ankeny, Ames, Cedar Falls, Des Moines, Malvern, Montrose, Milton and Ottumwa.
