Mr. and Mrs. Alderson
Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Alderson of Indianapolis celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house in the Moose Lodge, with their children as hosts, on May 24.
Mr. Alderson and the former Florencie Harris were married May 27, 1946, in Ebenezer Lutheran Church.
He was a hoisting engineer 40 years for International Union of Operating Engineers, retiring in 1986.
He is a World War II veteran and a member of Moose Lodge, Millersville Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite. They are the parents of Julie Mahan, Dan and Mike Alderson and have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
