Eames celebrate golden anniversary with open house at Knepper's
Robert "Bob" and Mary Lou (Beers) Eames will celebrate their 50th anniversary with family, friends and school-mates from the Collins School from 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 9, at Knepper's Reception Hall on Cromwell Road in Kimmell.
The couple was united in marriage Dec. 24, 1953 at Burr Oak Baptist Church in Albion.
They have four sons and their wives, Kenneth and Sue Eames of Fort Wayne, Dennis and Laurie Eames of Columbia City; Jim Eames of Cromwell and Dan and Erica Eames of Peru.
They are blessed with 10 grandchildren.
Bob retired from Blue Bell and farming after 30 years of work. He is a semi-retired painter. He served in the military and was a sergeant in the Korean Conflict.
Mary Lou is retired from Lyall Electric Washington Products.
The couple requests no gifts.
