Nash - Gross
Alecia Nash and Russ Gross were married on Aug. 27, 2011, at First Christian Church in Shelbyville, with the Rev. Nathan Day Wilson officiating the double-ring ceremony. Steven Gross, brother of the groom, delivered the message.
The bride is the daughter of Jim and Carmella Hammond of Shelbyville and David and Cheryl Ford of Bedford.
The groom is the son of Carla Gross of Hope and the late Major Gross.
Honor attendants were Nisha Sizemore and Allison Nash of Shelbyville; Lori Haley of Charleston, S.C.; Keeley Payne of Franklin; and Tiffany Wilson of Fountaintown.
A dinner-dance reception followed the ceremony at Maxim Events by Fiddlers Three.
The bride graduated from Shelbyville High School and from Ball State University. She is currently pursuing a master of divinity degree at Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis. She is the executive director of the Shelby Community Health Center.
The groom graduated from Shelbyville High School and from Purdue University. He is an account manager for Dayco Products LLC.
The couple is planning a future honeymoon trip to Jamaica. They reside in Shelbyville.
