Mr. and Mrs. Charles Winfree of Perry will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house hosted by their children and grandchildren at 2 p.m. June 16, 2001, at 19220 Highway J, Monroe City, across from the Hitching Post.
Joyce Ann Myers and Charles Richard Winfree were united in marriage on June 16, 1951, at the home of Father Green in Perry.
Attendants were Becky Myers McCollum and Patrick Myers.
Mrs. Winfree is the daughter of Otis and Mary Myers.
Mr. Winfree is the son of Adolphus and Pauline Winfree.
They are the parents of five children, Brenda Van Cleave of Perry, Charles David Winfree of Hannibal, Paula Winfree and Lisa Campbell, both of Monroe City and Dennis Winfree of Rock Island, Ill.
They have 10 grandchildren.
