Anniversary
Dale and Marilyn Pearcy Glassburn, 1077 and SR 18, Kokomo, recently celebrated their 50th anniversary with an open house at the Miami United Methodist Church.
The couple was married June 9, 1951 in Nead. Reverend Thomas Shively performed the ceremony.
Mr. Glassburn is retired from Continental Steel. He also served with the U.S. Army in the Korean War. Mrs. Glassburn is retired from Delco Electronics.
They have three sons, Allen Glassburn, Columbus, Ohio, Michael Glassburn, Miami, and Gary Glassburn, Kokomo; and seven grandchildren.
An open house, hosted by the couple’s grandchildren, was hosted June 10.
