Anniversary
Herschel and Gwendolyn Shoemaker Maus observed their 25th wedding anniversary on June 5, 2001.
Mr. and Mrs. Maus were married June 5, 1976, at the home of Reverend George and Beverly Hapner in Fulton. Rev. Hapner, a former minister of the Denver Brethren Church, performed the ceremony.
They were attended by the bride’s mother, Mrs. Dwight Shoemaker, the groom’s mother, Mrs. Lyman Maus, and Beverly Hapner.
A son, Steven Maus and wife, live near Kokomo, and a daughter, Beverly West and husband, live in Fulton, Mo. There are two grandchildren, Andy Maus and Dan Maus.
Mr. Maus retired from the Public Service Co. of Kokomo after 30 years. Mrs. Maus retired from Square D. A trip will soon be planned.
