Elbert E. and M. Gervase Anderson Mygrant, 5180 N 400 W, Peru, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary June 30, 2001.
The couple was married June 30, 1951, at a parsonage in Mexico, by Reverend C. C. Grisso.
Mr. and Mrs. Mygrant will be celebrating with an open house from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. July 1, at the Mexico Church of the Brethren.
The couple has four children, Dennis Mygrant, Peru, Rodney Mygrant, Peru, Ted Mygrant, Peru, and Cathy Wells, Burr Oak, Mich.; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Mygrant is retired from Danacorp. Mrs. Mygrant is retired from General Motors.
The couple requests no gifts.
