The bride is the daughter of Armando and Alzira DosSantos of Liberty Avenue, Danbury. The bridegroom is the son of Jose and Luisa Batista of Mabel Avenue, Danbury.
The bride's sister, Christina DosSantos, was maid of honor. Vania Delgado and Cecilia Delgado were bridesmaids.
The bridegroom's brother, Bruno Batista, was best man. Jorge Martins was usher and Luis Martins was ring bearer.
A reception followed at the Portuguese Cultural Center in Danbury.
Diane Batista graduated from Danbury High School. She is a bank teller at Savings Bank of Danbury in Brookfield.
Rui Batista graduated from Danbury High School and from Western Connecticut State University in Danbury with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He is an accountant for IBM Corp. in Somers, N.Y.
After a wedding trip to Disney World in Orlando, Fla., they are living in Danbury.
