Carrie R. Raybeck and John C. Scheehser were married Sept. 8 at Blue Sky Barn in Newtown by the Rev. Steve Gordon of Newtown Congregational Church.
The bride is the daughter of John and Linda Raybeck of Short Woods Road, New Fairfield. The bridegroom is the son of Larry and Aline Scheehser of Chicopee, Mass.
Lynn Carroll was matron of honor.
A reception followed at The Sage in New Haven.
Carrie Scheehser graduated from Western Connecticut State University in Danbury with a B.B.A. in marketing. She is an account executive at Connecticut Light & Power in Cheshire and the owner/aesthetician of Light Touch.
John Scheehser attended the University of Rhode Island. He is the owner of Park Builders and Hyper Sports in Chicopee.
After a wedding cruise to the southern Caribbean, they are living in Chicopee.
