Jensen, Anderson wed in Lexington
Amy Christine Jensen and Corey James Anderson, both of Omaha, were wed on Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lexington.
Officiating at the 4 p.m. ceremony was the Rev. Michael Gruhn.
The bride's parents are Roger and Sandy Jensen of Lexington. The groom's father is Duane Anderson of Kearney.
Grandparents of the bride are Alta Meredith of Lexington, Donald and Joyce Larson of South Dakota, the deceased Anton Jensen and the deceased Bill Meredith.
Grandparents of the groom are the deceased Marvin and Velma Anderson and the deceased R.D. and Donna Schissler.
The matron of honor was Kelly Bertucci of Omaha, a friend of the couple. Bridesmaids included Abby Thornburg of Lexington, friend of the couple; Amy Smith of Lexington, friend of the couple; Amy Muir of Lincoln, friend of the couple; Jennifer Anderson of Omaha, the groom's sister-in-law; and Krissy Anderson of Omaha, sister of the groom.
The best man was Shawn Anderson of Omaha, brother of the groom. Groomsmen included Bill Brecks of Lexington, friend of the couple; Nick Reynolds of Lexington, friend of the couple; Jake Fagot of Lexington, friend of the couple; Travis Wright of Lexington, friend of the couple and Ryan Jensen of Hastings, the bride's brother.
Flower girl was Lauren Anderson of Omaha, niece of the groom.
A wedding reception was held at the Holiday Inn Express in Lexington.
After a honeymoon to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple plans to live in Omaha where the bride is a dental assistant for Dr. James J. Lukas and the groom is director of I.T. for EMS, Inc.
