Albus and Harmoney united June 26
Jenica Jean Albus and Jason Michael Harmoney were married June 26, 2004, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lexington. Rev. Michael Gruhn officiated.
Parents of the couple are Nick and Delpha Albus of Lexington, Jim and Sheryl Hiatt of Spencer and Craig and Marvel Harmoney of Lexington. Grandparents are Alice Henery of Norfolk, LeRoy and Sharon Albus of West Point, Doris Earnest of North Loup, and great grandmother Helen Earnest of North Loup.
Music was provided by Heath Cunningham, soloist, and Chuck Messerschmidt, organist.
The bride wore a matte satin, strapless A-line gown with a roughed front panel, heavily adorned with beaded Alencon lace on the bodice and skirt. The bride carried a cascade bouquet of white calla lilies, tulips and orchids.
Desirae Albus, sister of the bride was maid of honor. Jenna Reed, Heidi Lerdail, Andrea Pankoke, Kristi Stierwalt and Shelley Sund were bridesmaids. Michelle Hiatt and Annie Hiatt were junior bridesmaids. Flower girls were Rebecca Hiatt and Anna Bauer.
The bridesmaids wore two-piece gowns that had strapless, champagne-colored bodices with embellished embroidered accents and long white, straight skirts with a small train. Each bridesmaid carried a bouquet of white tulips. Amy Turner was the bride's personal attendant.
Josh Harmoney, brother of the groom was best man. Alex Long, Pat Prasch, Derik Rowe, Justin Gibbons, Kyle Connot and Matt O'Brien were groomsmen. Hawken Albus was a junior groomsman. Joseph Hiatt was ringbearer.
Ushers were Josh Reimers, Justin Petersen, Nate Shirley and Mitch Harmoney. Candlelighters were Con Krieger and Sarah Moore.
A reception and dance followed the ceremony at Kirk's restaurant in Lexington. Host couples were Scott and Monica Ash and Scott and Lisa Bauer. Assisting with the reception were Cati Troyer, JaNell Leiszler, Jenell Harmoney, Peggy Luukkonen and Karen Hiatt.
The couple will be making their home in Jacksonville, N.C.
