Kment, Brockmeier married in Stanton
Kara Lynn Kment and Adam Wayne Brockmeier, both of Papillion, were married on Saturday, May 22, 2004, at the New England Congregational Church in Stanton.
Pastor Ron Gunsolley of Norfolk and Pastor Dean Brockmeier of Elk Mound, Wis., officiated the 5 p.m. ceremony. Gunsolley is the uncle of the bride and Brockmeier is the uncle of the groom.
The bride's parents are Wayne and Sue Kment of Stanton.
The groom's parents are Wayne and Susan J. Brockmeier of Cozad.
The bride's grandparents are the Rev. Earl and Marian Gunsolley of Stanton and Deloris Kment of Stanton and the late Rudolph Kment.
The groom's grandmother is Helena Garrelt of Kearney. His other grandparents are the late Emos Garrelt and the late Carl and Elsie Brockmeier.
Honorary grandparents at the ceremony were Spike and Lois Woolridge of Cozad.
The bride's sisters, Angie Kment of Omaha, was maid of honor and Laura Leech of Omaha was matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Amy Campion of Normal, Ill., Kara Young of Omaha and Christina Richards of Norfolk, all friends of the couple.
The groom's brothers, Austin Brockmeier of Cozad and Aaron Brockmeier of Denver, served as best men. Groomsmen included Will Geiger of Cozad, Jake Wiesen of Omaha and Robb Mundell of Riverdale, all friends of the couple.
Ushers included the bride's brother, Chad Kment of Plainview, the brother-in-law of the bride, Jeremy Leech of Omaha, and Matt Stahl of Manhattan, Kan., and Brandon Yaw of Lincoln, both friends of the couple.
Flower girls were nieces of the bride, Elizabeth Kment and Becca Kment, both of Plainview. Honorary flower girl was niece of the bride, Jacey Leech of Omaha.
Pianist was friend of the couple Barb Foote of Stanton. Soloists were the brother of the bride, Chad Kment of Plainview and cousin of the bride, Sara Kment of Stanton.
Kara is the sales manager of J & S Audio Visual in Omaha. She graduated from Wayne State College in 2001 with a degree in business. She is a 1997 graduate of Stanton High School.
Adam is a fitness consultant at Community Rehab Therapy and Sports Medicine in Omaha. He will begin the doctor of physical therapy program in August at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Adam did graduate work in exercise physiology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in exercise science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2002. He is a 1998 graduate of Cozad High School.
The couple will reside in Papillion.
