Schroeder, Holtz rites in Lincoln
Stacy Schroeder and Josh Holtz, both of Lincoln, were united in marriage June 7, 2003, at the Holy Savior Lutheran Church in Lincoln with the Rev. Michael Chaffee officiating.
Parents of the newlyweds are Gary and Nancy Schroeder of rural Smithfield and Norbert and Gayle Holtz of rural Beemer.
The bride's sister, Kate Schroeder, Bloomington, Ind., was maid of honor and the bridesmaids were Morgan Williams, Streamwood, Ill., Becki Logan, Lincoln, and Heidi Closman, Omaha. Personal attendants to the bride were Michelle Holtz, Omaha and Ann Holtz, Ashland.
Flowergirls were RaeLeigh Stansbery, Albuquerque, N.M., cousin of the bride, and Betsy Hatfield, Omaha, cousin of the groom.
Serving as best man was Chad Holtz, Omaha, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Heath Holtz, Ashland, and Easton Eggers and Jarod Wilcox, both of Wisner.
Ushers were Fredrik Hanson, Porsgrunn, Norway, Erik Buderus, Hastings, Brandy Koehn, Lincoln, and Tyler Steenken, Wisner.
Candlelighters were Jacob Schroeder of Albuquerque, N.M., and Michael Schroeder, Oro Valley, Ariz., cousins of the bride.
Attending the guest book were Amanda Cohee, Lincoln, and Katie Holtz, Beemer. Vocalists were Meghan Rutz, Lincoln, Laura Beune, Wisner, and Dennis Martin, Nashville, Tenn.
A dinner reception and dance were held at the Cornhusker Hotel in Lincoln. Hosts and hostesses were Ron and Cindy Eggers, Wisner, and Allen and Corinne Schroeder, Oro Valley, Ariz. The couple opened their gifts the next day at a brunch held at the Cornhusker Hotel.
The couple took a honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean and now reside in Lincoln where Stacy is employed at Northwest Electric and Josh is employed at the UNL Love Library.
