Kylie Ann Woods, Lexington, and Ryan Bradford Hays, Alma, were united in marriage on Saturday, June 28, 2003, at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Lexington. Fr. Don Buhrman, formerly of Lexington, officiated the 3 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Ed Woods, Yuba City, Calif., and Kathy Fagan, Lexington. Her grandparents are John Woods, Smith Center, Kan., and Alvin and Rosie Younger, Lebanon, Kan.
The groom is the son of Louis and Rebecca Hays of Alma, and the grandson of Joan and James Long, also of Alma.
Kim Glogowski, Washington, Ill., served as her sister's matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Naomi Nelson, Ames, Iowa, Mandy Franklin, Lincoln, and Kathryn Whalen, Omaha, all friends of the couple, and Kelly Hays, Alma, sister of the groom.
The best man was Ryan's brother, Bret Hays, of Alma. The groomsmen were Nicholas Thulin, Lincoln, Jason Moore, Omaha, Paul Hazard, North Platte, all friends of the couple, along with Matt Glogowski, Washington, Ill., brother-in-law of the bride.
The ring bearer was James Johnson, Lincoln, cousin of the groom.
Following a honeymoon to Negril, Jamaica, the couple resides in Peoria, Ill., where Kylie is a clinical perfussionist at St. Francis Hospital and Ryan is a medical student at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
