Psotas wed in Lexington
Christina Dawn Candy, Amherst, and Russell Allan Psota, Lexington, were united in marriage on Saturday, July 26, 2003, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Amherst. Rev. Jack Heck officiated the 5 p.m. ceremony.
Christina is the daughter of Thomas Candy, Kearney, and Patricia Candy, Amherst. Her grandparents are Thomas and Patricia Candy, Kearney, and Marvin and Betty Lou Abels, Amherst.
Russ is the son of Kirk and Janet Psota of Lexington. He is the grandson of Mike and Barb Psota, Ravenna, and the late Jack and Marilyn Spiegel, Ravenna.
Michelle Candy, Amherst, was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Angie Sickler, Amherst and Tami Frost, Omaha, friends of the bride.
Rhett Psota, Wayne, cousin of the groom, served as the best man. Groomsmen included friends of the groom, Brett Wagner and Nate Falkinburg, both of Lexington.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Amherst Community Center in Amherst.
The couple lives in Amherst, where Christina works at the Riverdale State Bank and Russ is employed at Darold Miller, Inc.
