Karen Skiles and Jon Linden, both of Kearney, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding July 20, 2002, at New Life Assembly in Kearney.
The future bride is a 1992 graduate of North Platte High School.
She graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center-College of Nursing in 2001.
Her parents are Ron and Carolyn Skiles, North Platte.
She is the granddaughter of Rosalie Wagner of Boulder, Colo.
The future groom is a 1994 graduate of Lexington High School.
He graduated from the University of Nebraska-Kearney with a physical education degree, and received his teaching endorsement from UNK in 2002.
His parents are Roger and Carol Linden, Lexington.
He is the grandson of Helen Gunnerson, and Raymond Linden, both of Lexington.
Karen is currently employed at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
Jon is with the City of Lexington-Park and Recreation Department and works at Wal-Mart.
