Hultz - 50th
Mr. and Mrs. Martin Hultz of rural Philadelphia will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception hosted by their children from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 12, 2004, at the Philadelphia Community Center in Philadelphia.
Darlene Gordanier and Martin Hultz were united in marriage on June 13, 1954, in Monroe City.
Mrs. Hultz is the daughter of the late Archie and Marie Gordanier.
Mr. Hultz is the son of the late Roy and Margaret Hultz.
They are the parents of four daughters, Linda Hultz of St. Louis, Kay Douglas of Philadelphia, Dena (John) Mayes of Troy and Susie Newberry of Hannibal.
They have eight grandchildren, Jennifer Darnell, Josh Mayes, Eric Mayes, Thomas Douglas, Austin Douglas, Jeremy Hultz, Mariah Nelson and Zach Nelson; and two great-grandchildren, Trenton Darnell and Tori Darnell.
Mr. Hultz has worked at B&W; Truck Repair in West Quincy for the past 50 years.
He is still working part-time and continues to farm.
Mrs. Hultz has worked for Leggett & Platt Inc. in Monroe City for the past 35 years.
All family and friends are invited to attend the reception.
