Tharp, Woehrle exchange vows
Karrie Lee Tharp and Chad Allen Woehrle exchanged wedding vows Aug. 5, 2000, at the United Methodist Church in Basin, Wyo., with the Rev. Sara Powers officiating.
Karrie is the daughter of Guy and Jill Tharp of Manderson, Wyo. Chad is the son of Richard and JoAnn Woehrle of Lexington.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a satin gown with re-embroidered Alencon lace. The off the shoulder, V-neckline, was offset by short tunnel sleeves. The bodice, fashioned with a linear design of embroidered Soutache and Allencon lace accented with sequins and pearls, fell into an A-line skirt with a cathedral train. Both were embellished with satin rosettes. The bride carried a cascading bouquet of lavender roses, purple lisianthus, asters and larkspur.
Maid of honor was Diane Hamilton of Laramie Wyo. Bridesmaids were Kirsten Kobbe of Manderson, Wyo., Chas Green of Lexington and Danielle Woehrle of North Platte.
Best man was Todd Naylor of Lexington. Groomsmen were Derek Hardesty of Lincoln, Mike Green of Lexington and Kyle Tharp of Manderson, Wyo.
Mataya and Shayla Belka of North Platte were flower girls, and Logan Tharp of Holyoke, Colo., was ring bearer.
Guests were seated by Josh Paumer of Manderson, Wyo., and Brad Belka of North Platte. Joe Paumer of Manderson, Wyo., lit the candles and Janet Tharp, of Gillette, Wyo., aunt of the bride, was soloist.
A reception followed the wedding at the Elk's Lodge in Worland, Wyo. Janet Tharp, Theresa Tharp, Chelcie McMillan, Casie McMillan, Shannon Tharp and Christine Tharp presided over the refreshment table.
A reception was held in Lexington Aug. 19, 2000, at the Knights of Columbus Hall to celebrate the wedding with friends and relatives in the Lexington area.
The bride attends Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis where she will graduate with a veterinary technician degree in 2002.
The groom attended college in North Platte and the University of Nebraska-Kearney and is a self-employed owner operator trucker.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Las Vegas and visited the California coast.
They are making their home in Eustis.
