Yungs celebrate 50th Anniversary
Dale and Ila Skjelver Yung were married Dec. 28, 1950 in Red Cloud.
They are graduates of Red Cloud High School.
Yung returned to coach and teach there until 1958.
He then became Superintendent of Schools at Roseland until 1965.
Mrs. Yung was also employed by the school.
They moved to Lexington, where he was high school principal for two years.
He then became a special agent for an insurance and bonding company, retiring in 1990.
Mrs. Yung was employed by Plum Creek Medical Group.
They and their immediate family plan to celebrate Dec. 23 and 25 in Lexington.
They have three children: Pam and Dan Eutsler, Milton, Fla., Mark and Pat Yung of Lexington and Cindy and Milt Ochsner of Lincoln.
The Yungs also have seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
