First Christian Church in Lexington was the setting for the Aug. 22, 2000, wedding of Kelly Anthony and Ben Kinnison. Rev. Tom Barber of Lincoln performed the double ring ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Cliff and Deb Anthony of Lexington and grandparents are Johnny and Lois Anthony and Hazel Golter of Lexington. Parents of the groom are Clark and Cindy Kinnison of Pierce. Grandparents are Clarence and Mary Jo Cooan of Holcombe, Wis. and Merna Kinnison of Lincoln.
Sandy Anthony, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor and Kurt North, cousin of the groom, served as best man. Leah Beckenhauer and Carrie Rasmussen, friends of the bride, and Sara Kinnison, sister of the groom, served as bridesmaids. Stacie Shafer, friend of the bride, was her personal attendant. Groomsmen were Robert Rose, Caleb Merrick and Caleb Plettner, friends of the groom.
Skyler Golter, cousin of the bride, served as ring bearer, and Kaylee Jo Rasmussen, friend of the bride, served as flowergirl. Rachel Shepherd and Christina Bristol, friends of the bride, were candle lighters. Mark Meyer, Scott Buss and Eric Venteicher, friends of the groom, were ushers.
Sara Long and Jessica Gieswein, friends of the bride, were guestbook attendants. John and Darcy Anthony, cousins of the bride, attended the gift table.
Kirsten Anthony, cousin of the bride, was pianist. Sandy Anthony and Ben Kinnison were soloists.
Mike and Kathy Hanna, friends of the bride, hosted a reception, held immediately following the ceremony at the church. Reception servers were: Marge Peterson and Pam Anthony, aunts of the bride, and Kris Lawton, aunt of the groom and Bernita North, cousin of the groom.
The couple is making their home in Lincoln.
