First Presbyterian Church in Lexington was the setting Aug. 12, 2000, for a ceremony uniting Melanie Bonini of Lexington and Tate Lutt of Kearney in marriage. Dr. Larry Kline officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Bruce and Rosalie Bonini of Lexington. Grandparents of the bride are Kenneth and Janice Brauer of Eustis and Verda Wrightsman of Kearney. Ruth Interholzinger of Lexington is the bride's great-grandmother.
Orrin and Kay Lutt of Kearney are parents of the groom. Carl Whitney of Kearney is the groom's grandfather.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents.
Valerie Martin, sister of the bride from Lincoln, was the maid of honor. Shannon Bruha, Krissy Motzner and Danielle Wemhoff, all friends of the couple, served as bridesmaids.
Brett Lutt, brother of the groom from Kearney, was the best man. Bryan Stump, Chet Dawes, and Aaron Peterson, friends of the couple, served as groomsmen. Dave Murrish, Jason Hall, Todd Cerny, Jason Gifstad and Scott Catterson were the ushers.
Alaina Brauer and Jessica, Brauer, cousins of the bride, were the flowergirls. Austin and August Fishell, friends of the couple, were the ringbearers. Monae Quincy and Mindy Lueking, friends of the couple, were the candle lighters.
Greg and Julie Brauer, uncle and aunt of the bride, and Scott and Bonnie Johnson, uncle and aunt of the groom, hosted a reception and dance held at the Veterans Memorial Club following the ceremony.
After a Disney World Cruise in Florida, the couple is making their home in Kearney.
