Albury - Schroeder
Lightner Museum was the setting at 5 p.m., April 20, 2002 for the marriage of Melissa Grae Albury and Jason Delaney Schroeder. Betty Crosby, notary, officiated. Kevin Ducharme played the keyboard.
The bride is the daughter of Bruce and Shelly Albury, St. Augustine, and the bridegroom is the son of Don and Sandi Schroeder.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a white silk gown, fashioned with off-the-shoulder bodice, empire waistline and pearl embroidery. Her headdress, a pearl tiara, secured a chapel-length veil, and she carried a hand-tied bouquet of peach and cream roses.
Julie Atkins, sister of the bride, was honor attendant. She wore a floor-length gown of celadon chiffon, fashioned with scoop neckline, and she carried a bouquet of peach roses.
Kalynn Atkins, niece of the bride, was flower girl.
David Middleton was best man, and Wade Schroeder, brother of the bridegroom, was usher.
A reception followed at the St. Augustine Shrine Club.
After a wedding trip to Hawaii, a gift of the bride's parents, the newlyweds will reside in St. Augustine.
The rehearsal dinner was held at Creekside Dinery, hosted by the parents of the bridegroom.
