Veith - Johnson
Misty Spring Johnson and Karl Hans Veith were married Oct. 14, 2000 at Lake Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Raymond Johnson and Mike Stanley officiating. The bride is the daughter of the Rev. Raymond and Pamela Johnson of Palatka. The groom is the son of Herbert Veith of Cuba, Ala. and Donna Colburn of Keystone Heights. Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a wedding gown of Matte satin with a sweetheart neckline. The Princess-style front bodice was highlighted with pearl beaded lace. The long fitted pointe sleeves were embellished with lace appliques. The front of the skirt was accented with appliques and lace encircled the hem of the skirt and chapel-length train. The fingertip veil was attached to a solid pearled headband. Wedding music was provided by Ronnie and Brenda Jones. Ginger Canipe served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Patrea Holder, Amber Holder, Heather Sweat, Dawn Richie and Barbie Martin. Heather Martin served as junior bridesmaid and Katrina Veith was flower girl. Destiny Brown kept the brideŐs book and Stacy Richie handed out programs. Jason Channell served as best man. Ushers were Jody Richie, Bobby Channell, Kyle Brown, Ray Johnson Jr. and Jamie Richie. Dean Richie served as ring bearer. Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the fellowship hall of the church. The couple took a wedding trip to Orlando. They will live in Keystone Heights. The bride graduated from Palatka High School. She is employed by Dr. John L. Gaines. The groom attended school in Cuba, Ala. He is employed by Vac-Con in Green Cove Springs.
