Harder - Stone

Robin Lynn Stone and Henry Donald Harder Jr. were married Oct. 7, 2000, at Concord Baptist Church in Anderson, S.C., with the Rev. Bob Marcaurelle officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry E. Stone of Anderson, S.C. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry D. Harder Sr. of Palatka, FL. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a candlelight gown with an off-shoulder neckline accented with starbursts of seed pearls and Austrian crystals. The gown’s A-lined full flowing silk satin skirt featured inverted pleats with curls of ribbon adorning the chapel-length train. Wedding music was provided by Peggy Purdy, organist and Cameron Harder, trumpeter. Stephanie Radford served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Melissa Harder Lillie, Kathy Southard Bauman, Sunni Taylor Crowe, Betsy Corley Robinson and Elizabeth Louise Sanders. Beth Maybin McWilliam and Karson Riley Radford served as flower girls. Courtney Lee Hall kept the bride’s book. Henry Donald Harder Sr. served as best man. Ushers were Patrick Lee Bethea, Merrill Kandell Nearman, Christopher Jason Estes, Larry Chase Stone, Kerre Yon Taylor Radford and Brian Murphy Hendricks. A reception was held in the church social hall following the ceremony. The couple took a wedding trip to Jamaica. They will live in Columbia, S.C. The bride received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Lander University. She is employed as coordinator of Community Services for Palmetto Senior Care at Richland Memorial Hospital. The groom received his Bachelor of Arts in history from University of Florida and masters degree in occupational therapy from Nova Southeastern University. He is employed by the Department of Health and Environmental Control in Columbia, S.C.
