Roberts celebrate 50th anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Roberts of East Palatka celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception at the Raintree Country Club in Charlotte, N.C.
The celebration was hosted by Velma's sister and brother-in-law, Marion and Gene Wilson, and was attended by family and friends.
The couple, were married Jan. 3, 1951, in Yonkers, N.Y.
The Roberts, both originally from New York City, have been residents of East Palatka since 1987, when Frank retired from Dravo Corporation as Director of Human Resources.
Before relocating to Florida, the couple lived in Western Pennsylvania.
The couple's son and daughter-in-law, Mitchell and Michelle Roberts live in East Palatka and their daughter and son-in-law, Leslie and George Frates III, reside in Monterey, Calif.
The couple have three grandchildren, Shane, Brandon and Brittany Roberts.
